Episode 379 Tulsi Gabbard Changes Parties, Warns Nuclear Threat, And Some Shows I Saw

Ok, so I know it's hard to not take Tulsi Gabbard to heart when she is pleading for our safety.  The threat of nuclear war is a real possibility.  One that I don't think any of us want to admit.  Please listen to her interview with Joe Rogan.  She is getting out of politics and talking to the people to try to stop this from becoming a reality.  There might not be a tomorrow.  Nothing is promised.

And I do want to talk about some shows I've watched... hoping it matters or distracts me from the harsh reality of the end of times.  Check out She-Hulk, or Rings of Power, or Jexi, or The House of The Dragon.  All worth while distractions with their own merit.  Thanks for listening.  I hope nuclear war doesn't happen.  If it does not, please subscribe to my podcast and leave me some positive feedback.  I'd love for this to grow and hopefully change the world for the better, but let's be honest, I'm no Joe Rogan.  At best, I'm barely Josh Peek.  :)  Have a great day and thank for listening.

I sit down with my friend Josh West, and my brother Alex Smith. We discuss what it's like traveling to Chicago and New York, and how the people are perhaps different because of the city. We discuss what it's like being Dads and how we try our best and hope it helps, but are certain non of know what we are doing. We are here to see Bert Kreischer perform in Florence SC. He was great!! Episode 368 Night Sky, Turning Red, Respect, Westworld, COVID positive here!

I know I've teased that I probably won't get COVID, and if I did I'd not be at risk for the worst of it. I did get it... I'm fine. Just a little cough for now. Only had a fever for 3 hours. Be safe. Not everyone has the same symptoms or reacts the same way. Check the CDC guidelines if you have questions. If you're stuck at home like me, reach out.... we could do a Zoom podcast about how we are quarantining at home.

Episode 366 Georgia Guidestones, The Bear, King Richard, The Boys

Shout out to Jeremy Allen White and everyone involved in making The Bear on FX (Hulu). Love your acting and the projects I've seen you in so far. I'm so glad I found Jellyroll on the Bertcast. Thanks Bert for continuing to do what you love and make it fun for us to learn of more cool shit along the way. The Boys is a crazy show with a huge body splatter budget. Thanks to Adam Carolla for making it possible for so many content creators to do what they do without the control of patent trolls going after their livelihood. King Richard was a good movie, though I'm to understand it's done up to be a movie, not real to life. It should take nothing away from Venus and Serena Williams' accomplishments. I took a page from Bert Kreischer and this was sort of an "Open Tabs" version of what he does. Thanks for listening. I hope you enjoyed it. If you want to be on the podcast, let me know. I'd love to have a conversation with you.
